In Season 4, we pick up with two versions of Máximo Gallardo Ramos — the present-day mogul (Eugenio Derbez) and his

Younger 1980s self (Enrique Arrizon) — both fighting to save what matters most: Las Colinas Resort.


In the present, Máximo is working tirelessly to restore the resort to its former glory in time for its grand reopening. Meanwhile, back in 1986, young Máximo faces fierce competition when Las Colinas loses its top ranking as Acapulco’s best hotel. With pride, loyalty, and dreams on the line, he’ll stop at nothing to reclaim the crown — even if it means risking everything.

A co-production from Lionsgate Television, 3Pas Studios, and The Tannenbaum Company, the series draws inspiration from Derbez’s film How to Be a Latin Lover and blends nostalgia, Latino culture, and a universal coming-of-age charm.
