How to Train Your Dragon (2025): A Live-Action Epic Soars to New Heights

The beloved tale of Vikings and dragons is taking flight once more—this time in breathtaking live-action! 🎥🔥

From three-time Oscar® nominee Dean DeBlois, the creative force behind DreamWorks Animation’s acclaimed How to Train Your Dragon trilogy comes a spectacular reimagining of the 2010 animated classic. This fantasy adventure will introduce a new generation to the unforgettable bond between a young Viking and a Night Fury dragon, featuring an all-new cast, stunning IMAX visuals, and cutting-edge effects.

Mark your calendars—How to Train Your Dragon hits theaters on June 13, 2025!

A Story of Friendship, Courage & Destiny

Set on the rugged isle of Berk, where Vikings and dragons have been sworn enemies for generations, the story follows Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III (Mason Thames). Unlike the other warriors in his tribe, Hiccup is an outcast—more of an inventor than a fighter.

Everything changes when he befriends Toothless, a rare and feared Night Fury dragon. This unlikely bond challenges everything the Vikings believe about dragons, forcing Hiccup to defy tradition, earn his father’s respect, and fight for a new future where humans and dragons can coexist.

But with an ancient threat looming, Hiccup and Toothless must prove that their friendship can change the world—before it’s too late.
