đ„ Ironheart Blazes a Trail on Disney+ â Here's Everything You Need to Know!
Premieres June 24, 2025 â 3-Episode Debut
𩶠âIconicâ barely scratches the surface.
Marvel Television is gearing up to close out Phase Five of the MCU with a bold, high-tech, and magically-charged bang. Enter Ironheart, the all-new limited series debuting on Disney+Â on June 24, 2025, with a thrilling three-episode premiere.
Executive produced by Ryan Coogler (Black Panther, Wakanda Forever) and created by Chinaka Hodge, Ironheart is more than just a superhero storyâitâs a coming-of-age collision of intellect, identity, tech, and magic, all centered around one of Marvelâs most promising new heroes: Riri Williams.
đ ïž Who is Ironheart?
First introduced in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Riri Williams (played by Dominique Thorne) is an MIT prodigy who built her own Iron Man-level suit in her dorm room. In Ironheart, she returns home to Chicago, only to find herself pulled into a world of supernatural danger when tech meets sorcery.
The series explores Ririâs roots, her complicated feelings following the events of Wakanda Forever, and the challenges of balancing genius, grief, and heroism in a city teetering between innovation and destruction.
đ§ Tech vs. Magic: The Hood Arrives
Ririâs new reality is turned upside down when she encounters Parker Robbins / The Hood, portrayed by Anthony Ramos (In the Heights). Parker isnât your typical villainâheâs a street-smart, magical misfit from Humboldt Park who gains dark powers from a mysterious hood, forcing Riri into a collision course between science and sorcery.
Their dynamic promises to be unlike anything weâve seen in the MCU so farâIronheartâs logic and tech clashing with Robbinsâ raw, chaotic magic.
đ©âđ§ A New Generation of Heroes & Outcasts
Alongside Thorne and Ramos, Ironheart boasts a diverse and powerful ensemble:
Lyric Ross as Ririâs loyal best friend, Natalie Washington
Anji White as Ronnie Williams, Ririâs determined and protective mother
Manny Montana as Cousin John, a key figure from Ririâs past
Matthew Elam as Xavier Washington
Alden Ehrenreich, Regan Aliyah, and more in intriguing roles
Shea Couleé steps into the MCU as Slug
And the mysterious return of Jim Rash as the snarky MIT Dean from Civil War
There are also rumored surprise appearances, including Sacha Baron Cohen in a still-undisclosed role that could change everything.
đŹ What Makes Ironheart Different?
đĄ Smart Storytelling: At its heart, Ironheart is a story about a young Black genius learning to navigate power and purpose.
đȘ Genre Fusion: It's a mash-up of tech and mysticism, something fresh for Marvel fans.
