MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM HATHAWAY: The Sorcery of Nymph Circe — A New Era of War, Ideals, and Emotion Lands January 2026!

The Gundam saga soars higher than ever as “MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM HATHAWAY: The Sorcery of Nymph Circe” prepares to shake theaters across Japan — and soon, the United States. The revolution led by Hathaway Noa continues, in a story where ideals clash, loyalties blur, and humanity’s fate burns in the glow of a mobile suit’s thrusters.

🌌 The Legacy of Hathaway Noa

For those who witnessed the first chapter — Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway (2021) — the story left off with a haunting image: Hathaway Noa, son of legendary Earth Federation officer Bright Noa, burdened by guilt, purpose, and the ghosts of the One Year War.

Twelve years after Char’s Rebellion (U.C. 0105), Hathaway leads MAFTY, a rebel organization opposing the Earth Federation’s corruption and authoritarian control. Disguised as a bureaucrat by day and revolutionary by night, Hathaway’s world begins to crumble when he encounters Gigi Andalucia, a mysterious woman whose eerie insight into his double life ignites memories and doubts he thought long buried.

As he once declared in the first film:

“If the world is built on lies, then I’ll burn it down to find the truth.”

Now, in The Sorcery of Nymph Circe, that fire threatens to consume everything — including himself.

⚔️ The Next Chapter: The Sorcery of Nymph Circe

Directed by Shukou Murase and featuring music by the masterful Hiroyuki Sawano, this sequel dives even deeper into Hathaway’s internal war — one torn between justice and obsession.

The film expands the trilogy’s emotional and political tension, introducing new characters, darker conspiracies, and the eerie, almost mythical tone suggested by its title. “Nymph Circe” evokes transformation — perhaps hinting that Hathaway’s ideals, and even his identity, are about to evolve in unexpected ways.

Voice actor Kensho Ono, returning as Hathaway Noa, shared:

“Hathaway is a man who questions the world itself — torn by doubts about what justice means and what he is truly fighting for. He suffers in solitude as he struggles with those questions, while Gigi’s presence grows ever larger, spiraling out of control.”

Reina Ueda, the voice of Gigi Andalucia, teases the mysterious heart of the film:

“Does Gigi truly realize that she holds the power to influence the course of this conflict — or not? Beneath her playfulness lies someone who struggles and thinks deeply.”

And finally, Junichi Suwabe (Kenneth Sleg) captures the intensity of what’s coming:

“The trailer alone gave me goosebumps. The story of those swept along by destiny moves forward once again.”

💥 What to Expect

  • New Mobile Suits — The film will feature advanced Gundam designs by Hajime Katoki and Kimitoshi Yamane, blending cinematic realism with mechanical beauty.

  • Expanding the World of U.C. 0105 — Political intrigue deepens as Kenneth Sleg leads the Federation’s counter-operation while Gigi’s actions in Hong Kong hint at new factions and hidden agendas.

  • Hathaway’s Emotional Spiral — Torn between duty, guilt, and Gigi’s haunting presence, Hathaway faces the breaking point of his ideals.

  • Sawano’s Soundtrack Returns — Expect thunderous orchestral energy and emotional scores that capture Gundam’s grand, tragic scale.

🪐 The Fire Still Burns

MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM HATHAWAY: The Sorcery of Nymph Circe isn’t just another chapter — it’s a deep dive into the cost of conviction. As Hathaway’s revolution escalates and his humanity unravels, we’re reminded of Tomino’s enduring message:

“There is no true victory in war — only the will to keep believing.”

The Gundam universe continues to evolve, and Hathaway’s journey may be its most human story yet — poetic, painful, and unforgettable.
