đˇď¸ She's Back in Black: Wednesday Season 2 Teaser Drops â Here's Everything We Know
Get ready, weirdos â Wednesday Addams is returning, and she's moodier, darker, and more deadpan than ever. Netflix has officially dropped the first teaser trailer for Wednesday: Season 2, and itâs serving all the gothic mystery vibes weâve come to love.
Split into two haunting halves, Season 2 is creeping onto screens this fall:Part 1 drops August 6, 2025, and Part 2 follows on September 3, only on Netflix.
đ¤ A Supernatural Hit Reawakened
Created by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, and guided by the macabre vision of Tim Burton, Wednesday reimagined the beloved Addams Family icon as a modern-day sleuth with psychic powers. The first season became an instant hit â racking up record-breaking views, four Emmy wins, and two Golden Globe nominations. Not to mention, it launched Jenna Ortega into horror icon status.
Now, Season 2 promises to up the stakes and deepen the darkness â with more monsters, more mysteries, and even more menacing one-liners from our favorite dead-eyed teen.
đŽ Recap: Where We Left Off
In Season 1, we followed Wednesday as she was exiled to Nevermore Academy, a school for supernatural outcasts hidden in the eerie town of Jericho, Vermont. There, she unlocked her psychic powers, made unlikely friends (hello, Enid!), tangled with love interests, battled a murderous Hyde, and uncovered a centuries-old conspiracy threatening her new home.
The final episode ended with a chilling cliffhanger â an ominous text message from a stalker watching her every move. Season 2 is picking up right where that ominous mystery left off.
đŹ The Teaser: Glimpses of Mayhem
Netflix's teaser doesnât give away much â but just enough to get fans buzzing. We see:
Wednesday digging up secrets (possibly literally)
Enid with a more confident, fierce werewolf vibe
Creepy new characters lurking in the shadows
And Wednesday, deadpan as ever, muttering:"I knew my problems would follow me. I just didnât expect them to multiply."
Let the chaos begin.
đ§ Who's Back â and Who Might Haunt Us
Confirmed returning cast includes:
Jenna Ortega as Wednesday Addams (and her ancestor Goody)
Emma Myers as Enid Sinclair, everyone's favorite pastel werewolf
Hunter Doohan as Tyler Galpin, Hyde and... love interest?
Joy Sunday, Georgie Farmer, and Moosa Mostafa are also expected to return
Catherine Zeta-Jones and Luis Guzmån reprise their roles as Morticia and Gomez Addams
Christina Ricci, the OG Wednesday, may be done... but never say never in the world of Nevermore
Thereâs also heavy speculation that new characters and monsters will be introduced, expanding the eerie ecosystem of Nevermore and Jericho.
đ Season 2: What to Expect
While plot details are still buried in mystery, hereâs what we do know:
Season 2 will dive deeper into the supernatural underworld, including more about Hyde mythology
Wednesdayâs psychic powers are evolving â and possibly becoming more dangerous
Expect more focus on friendship, sisterhood (hello, Enid), and complicated romances
New villains, new visions, and possibly... new Addams family members?
Also, with the success of Season 1âs viral dance scene, it wouldnât be shocking if another TikTok moment is in the works.
